About A-D Bikes

A-D Bikes is the modern face of Austro-Daimler cycling and the Bike Company of the Future. It is the first bicycle company with an internal deproduction division. This allows us to resell, reuse or recycle every A-D we sell. It also allows us to resell, reuse or recycle all of your old cycling gear for you. This is how we create value for you, take responsibility for our products and it is how A-D Bikes is sustainable, circular and different from all  the other large and small bicycle companies.

President and founder Fred Thomas raced and Austro-Daimler Superleicht in the 80s and 90s and wanted to do so again as a masters category road cyclists so he "pulled a Mini Cooper" and obtained the abandoned rights to the brand. He has been reimagining A-D for the twenty-first century since 2010 by introducing performance carbon road, time trial and cyclocross framesets that offer current features while retaining the colors and the spirit of the originals.
